Windshield Repair

Home | FAQ | Replacement

If the crack or chip in your windshield is not too large to repair and is not in the driver’s direct line of sight, it is not necessary to replace the windshield. It can be repaired to keep the damage from spreading and to restore structural integrity, safety, and visibility. Plus, it’s much faster and inexpensive.

To repair the windshield, a dual-cure resin is injected into the crack or chip and allowed to cure. It is then polished and buffed, improving visibility of the damaged area. The resin restores the strength and hardness of the glass.

During the repair process, there is certain amount of stress on the damage area. On occasion, this stress will cause the damage to spread while the repair is being attempted, requiring replacement. In which case, we will apply the cost of repair toward the replacement costs.

Once the repair is made, the strength of the glass is restored and there is virtually no strength difference between properly repaired glass and a replaced windshield.

If the chip runs within 3 months, the fee for repair will be deducted off the cost of replacing your windshield.

Most insurance companies pay 100% of windshield repair.

Insurance companies generally waive your deductible for windshield repair, it costs you nothing. We handle billing your insurance company. Repair saves them the cost of replacing the entire windshield.
